My name is Redmar Verhaegh, founder of Fritz Vintage. What started as a personal fascination with the craftsmanship of high-quality furniture quickly grew into something bigger. My interest began with the search for used design furniture with character. I am particularly drawn to pieces made from natural materials such as wood – honest material, visible craftsmanship, and built to last. Think of designers like Pierre Chapo: almost sculptural, artisanal, and full of soul. New items are everywhere, but for pieces like these, you really have to go out and find them. That hunt, recognizing quality, and bringing remarkable objects back to life through restoration is what drives me every day.
